N. WI water bottling plan comes…and goes

Good to see that a proposal to take water out of a small north woods Wisconsin lake - - I'd just written about it - - has come and gone, leaving the Great Lakes Compact of 2008 intact and making a strong statement about water and the law.

    While this is good news for the Great Lakes watershed, maybe not so good for that aquifer around Minoqua. If the bottling plant has plans drawn already Solberg will find a way to make use of them. At least the public is now warned to keep awareness up for the next "site"!
