So British Prime Minister David Cameron said he never said the negative things about President Obama which Scott Walker attributed to Cameron, and an intimidated Walker today - - five days after Time.com first reported it - - refused to address Cameron's denial.
Governor Stonewall's silence gives consent, or as they say, "Qui tacet consentit."
His 'never-apologize-record' intact, Walker returns from Canada later today and will devote two days in Wisconsin to fixing his budget and explaining away his mediocre, official full-term job creating numbers before leaving for another weekend, East coast swing.

ReplyDeleteHave a look at this, from the Washington Post:
ReplyDeleteAs budget fight rages at home, Wisconsin’s Scott Walker goes abroad
http://wapo.st/1GsoyXo
The knee slapper:
Even so, Walker’s four foreign trips in five months stand out. He now sprinkles details of his world travels into his stump speeches. While in Canada, Walker suggested that he had qualms about drinking the water in other countries he had visited.
“There are plenty of places around the world I go to that I would not dare do that,” he said. “I would not be drinking water unless they brought it to me in a bottle and I could make sure the top had not been turned. . . . because I wouldn’t know if I would get sick or not. “
What with the DNR being eviscerated and the Legislature throwing environmental regulation willy-nilly by the wayside, how long until our beloved Governor insists on drinking bottled water in Wisconsin as well? For health and safety reasons, of course. The rare times he's actually here, that is.
I can't believe he is implying that Cameron is a liar. What world leader will meet with him after this?
ReplyDelete@MadCityVoter...He has to drink bottled water when, if he would ever, visit properties in NE Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteI can't belive he can't connect the dots at home. The DBA had to be scramblimg. DNR enforcement? Guv? GUV? WHAT YOU GOT TO SAY ABOUT NE WI? Kewaunee County? Adams? Marquette?
Add Bayfield and Ashland to the mix, and you got your answer.....Government just needs to stay away...we got to many regz...snap...#TW
Opps...I slipped.
*visited **believe ***has ****counties (who voted for Burke)
ReplyDeletethank you for highlighting his recent comments.
@James, thank you for bringing us the news.
This is the reason Walker is a danger to America. If this is what Walker does to one of our allies, I can only imagine how he would handle diplomacy in the muslim controlled Middle East. Walker publically insulted Muslims in his Unintimidated book. Without apology. Do you think for one minute Walker could rule America without significantly increasing the amount of countries that want to blow us up? Russia must be praying the USA is as stupid as WI to make Walker POTUS. Walker's lack of diplomacy will severely undermine the USA as world power. Walker may have been successful extorting money from big business for his own largesse but Putin doesn't play that game.
ReplyDeletePutin plays the same game as Walker, only difference is that Putin is a master. Walker is still working his apprenticeship under the Koch brothers.
ReplyDeleteBut in a showdown between Walker POTUS and Putin, who would win? Would the Unintimidated Walker, who wears gloves to eat ribs and worries about who messed with his water bottle stand up against Putin??
DeletePalin is more of a man than Walker.
Hold on...I just fell off my chair laughing at the thought...

The irony here is if you asked a self identified conservative who voted for Walker and asked them about Putin's leadership you'd hear ramblings of disgust and contempt. Yet that same crowd elected a Putinesque Governor 3 times!! Seriously???
