New ' friend' [Sic] of labor, Walker mocks workers, buries his record

We've noted the absolute absurdity of Walker's latest pose:
"I’m going to stand with the American worker."
Perhaps these workers, listed by Walker to his staff, and in his book?  And what's next for this chameleon: Walker, Tree-Hugger? Feminist? $7.50/hr. minimum-wage advocate? Advocate for light rail, Amtrak?
10.) You take a week off to protest in Wisconsin and your office runs better.
9.) On a snow day when they say “non-essential” people should stay home you know who they mean.
8.) You get paid twice as much as a private sector person doing the same job but make up the difference by doing half as much work.
7.) It takes longer to fire you than the average killer spends on death row.
6.) The worse you do your job, the more your boss avoids you.
5.) You think the French are working themselves to death.
4.) You know by having a copy of the Holy Koran on your desk your job is 100% safe.
3.) You spend more time at protest marches than at church.
2.) You have a Democratic congressman’s lips permanently attached to your butt.
1.) You pay more in union dues than you do for your health care insurance.

  1. Scott Walker doesn't consider union members or public employees American workers.
Even though he is a public employee himself.
Someone should ask him about that sometime, maybe when he is finally forced to talk to someone who hasn't been hand-picked or kept away from him.

  2. ""If unemployment is high and labor participation is low, why would we want to open the door and flood the market with more workers at a time when our own people here are looking for work?"

Because when the prevailing wage is repealed, Texas and Arizona contractors will need to put their work force in snowbird jobs?109

  3. So, was Walker trying to say that immigrants are to blame for his inability to create an economic environment conducive to job creation. It's always somebody else's fault, never his. He tells people there is nothing he can do about it. But, there is. He makes decisions exclusively. Not one other person in Madison gets to give any input into what his decisions are. If he can wield that much power to get done what he wants done, then he can also wield that much power to stop things from happening that are hurting people. He chooses not to. I hope many others have noticed that he never takes the credit for all of those great bills the GOP passes that end up hurting people. Nor does he take the blame for all the hurt imposed on certain people by those laws. His attitude is "oh well, it's what they wanted, I had no power to stop them, and I can't help what the consequences are." Not that he would anyway. When he writes his budget he does so only with the bottom line in mind as the most important part of the budget. The only thing that matters is that his benefactors get their tax breaks. The rest of you out there are just excess baggage. You don't matter to him.

  4. The sooner justice prevails and Walker goes to Federal prison for his racketeering crimes the better. In days gone by corrupt politicians like him were lynched.

  5. "In days gone by corrupt politicians like him were lynched."

He surely would arrange to see that it was someone else, not him....
