Poor, self-inficting wounding Walker.
He thinks he has to respond to President Barack Obama as part of The Walker Preposterous Presidential Pratfall Tour, and this time the subject was restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba - - and though he did not say Mojito!, take a look at the mess he made of a single follow-up question about US relations with Saudi Arabia, with its substantial civil liberties' deficits.

Asked if he believed Saudi Arabia was a free and open country and what he made of the United States' relationship with that country, Walker said: "They're making a few moves right now but those are things that can be easily altered, at least in terms of Cuba. In terms of Saudi Arabia, we haven't — those are things I guess folks at the federal level would ultimately have to comment on in terms of whether its consistency or not. The difference I think with Cuba is that's a policy the United States has had for some time. To change that, I think there has to be substantial change in terms of the positions that the Cuban government has."In other words, in terms of knowing anything, he doesn't.
Man is he going to take a beating on the national stage putting out this kind of crap. Telling the world that they had better get cracking in being just like us or else............or else we're not going to let you have a relationship with us. He makes Grothman look like a mental giant with these kind of statements. Can't he see that he's already over his head in even the smallest matters of global expertise.
ReplyDeleteWalker's worst enemy in his Pretend Presidential Tour is himself. He's a barely-educable dimwit, who never met a controversy he can't blame on a minion.
ReplyDeleteParty of Personal Responsibility, my decaying blue-green ass.
Hey Scooter, the cars may be 60 years old in Cuba but at least Cuban women have the right to drive them.
ReplyDeleteAlthough that might not be an argument that would fly with Walker.
Don't underestimate Walker. When the GOP ran last time, most of them were flat out crazy balls. And Romney was a massive flip-flopper with a side of baloney-ous "I got caught" lyin' Ryan.
ReplyDeleteWalker says word sald nothings and low info voters interpret it anyway they want to.

It means nothing. But sounds like "something important" unless you think about what he did/did not say. He's a master at it. And he's probably the most useful, complaint idiot in the billion dollar club tool shed.
Dark horse is still in the race.
He forgot to add "and also, too."
