I have *heard* that what the DNR spends to raise and release these birds actually runs about $50 per bird.But the pheasant stamp appears to be only $10. ...subsidies.
He's been giving Wisconsinites the bird for 4 years it is only right that we give it back to him on election day!
If that editorial was placed in the sports section or the comics people might actually read it. Otherwise it's pretty much irrelevant except as a guide to what the corporate policy is: Corruption is acceptable, even refreshing.
well, at least he didn't shoot a friend who was standing behind him...
