From time to time I get a request from someone for a link to or collection of posts about a topic of mutual interest. But sorting through an archive of 90 months of thousands of posts for just the right item or two can be daunting, even if you're me and this all floats in the hard drive between my ears.
So I thought I'd put up one post that lists ten of the dominant interest areas and include a link (or two) that can help get people started into the subject matter a little more easily.
Knowing this will be incomplete, imperfect, and complicated by overlap and missed choices - - but guided by title of the blog - - here goes:
* Scott "Wrong-Way" Walker.
* Walker, his jobs-fail, and the exceptions.
* Talk radio.
* Rail transportation - - the big picture - - highlighted lately by on the impacts of Walker's rejection of federal Amtrak funding.
* Transit, economic justice and discriminatory planning and spending.
* Wisconsin's water crises - - the big picture - - highlighted lately by another drop in the level of the nationally-listed and impaired Little Plover River.
* The proposed diversion of Great Lakes water to Waukesha.
* The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
* The proposed iron mine in the Bad River watershed.
* The Wisconsin wolf hunt and other legal animal cruelty.
