Every time Scott Walker says Wisconsin is going in the right direction - - and no, he isn't punning about his right-wing leadership - - remember the facts in these two simple sentences from the Journal Sentinel's excellent weekend analysis of Walkers' failed 250,000-new-jo-promise:
Wisconsin has averaged 1.3% in annual private-sector job growth since 2010; the national average has been 2.1%. Wisconsin’s ranking in private-sector job growth was 35 among the 50 states in 2011, 36 in 2012 and 37 in 2013.
