Despite Subsequent Violence, Gun Buyback A Solid Idea

Like all shootings, those that took place in Milwaukee after a well - publicized gun buyback program were tragic, sorrowful events.

But it's wrong to suggest the violence proves the program was misguided.

Every gun turned in was not necessarily a weapon sure to be used in a crime - - and violence prevention is a complex matter.

Removing the guns was a statement by citizens who showed they want safer streets, and homes less likely to be devastated by accidental gunplay, carelessness or suicide.

Credit goes to the City and program participants.

If milwaukee were such an ideal place to live, like you have repeatedly proclaimed, there would be no need for this, right?

Your journalism ethics leave much to be desired.

You posts are too inconsistent & contradictory to take seriously.

Non-sequitor. Even good places to live can be improved.
