Pro-Life Wisconsin Is True American Cookie Monster

The only way to stop a bad organization - - Pro-Life Wisconsin - - is to wholeheartedly support a good organization - - The Girl Scouts of America - - by buying those cookies like never before.
Here's hoping that Pro-Life Wisconsin and the rest of the anti-choice crowd implode:
Pro-Life Wisconsin is joining a national effort to boycott Girl Scout Cookies...This year Pro-Life Wisconsin and other groups around the nation are asking their members to boycott the girls.
Peggy Hamill, the state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, said discontent with Girls Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) has been brewing for years...
Hamill takes issue with some role models GSUSA promotes, including Hillary Clinton and Gloria Steinem. She says the Girl Scouts also hold up Texas state senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
“Both of those women are very strong advocates of the so-called ‘right’ to abortion on demand and the so called ‘right’ to women’s reproductive health care,” said Hamill.

  1. Actually, those cookies contain palm oil, which is very environmentally problematic. Better yet to just make a cash donation to the Girl Scouts and leave the cookies alone (better for you and the environment).

  3. James doesn't care about the environmentally problematic, he only cares about the politically correct. I bought cookies because I believe the Girl Scouts have good programs to help girls succeed while James supports them because they haven't opposed abortion.

  4. Actually, Sensible, I buy them because they taste good, because I support the organization and the kids and families that sell them, and because it's an all-around good thing to do.

Many years ago, when my older sister, a Girl Scout, was too sick to sell them I put her supply in my wagon, walked our neighborhood and sold the entire lot door-to-door.

    True story.

  5. To bad political correctness has ruined the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts.

My children were just fine in other organizations that were politically of limits.

  6. I'll support anyone who is a "very strong advocate of the 'right' to women's reproductive health care." Thank you, bring on the cookies.

  7. scare quotes around 'right"?

Is she implying that women do not have a right to reproductive health care?

What about men? Is their right to little blue pills also being questioned?

  8. The War on Women is now opening a new front on young girls. God save us from the Pharisees.

An investigation into the economics and ethics of some of these fund raisers could surprise well minded people. The idiot Right might be right for the wrong reason.
