Walker: 'I Was The Original Tea Party In Wisconsin,' So Let Him Own That

I'd noted on this blog yesterday that The Washington Post on Saturday put the "tea party" label on Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker when he showed up in Virginia to campaign for Ken Cuccinelli, a Tea Party supporter and the GOP candidate in Tuesday's gubernatorial election.

After I reposted that item on Facebook, former Wisconsin Democratic Party spokesman Graeme Zielinski responded with this comment:
He was the "original Tea Party." His words.
Google discloses that Zielinski is correct.

"When people ask me, 'How do you appeal to Tea Party folks?' I say: I was the original Tea Party in Wisconsin," Walker said.

    Yep, I also noticed he was recycling the same old BS against "public sector union bosses" with the Cooch yesterday. This guy's really relying on the out-of-staters not using that thing called the Intertubes to check into the reality, are they?

    Interesting. I was not aware that "Tea Party" had registered as an official political party. Based on the governor's comment, he seems to think it has.

    Yup, he sure is the Original Tea Party Governor...

    He's also under investigation and the John Doe 2 case has not been filed yet by the FBI and five county Probe investigators...

    What happened was, as explained by Norman Goldman in his Legal Analysis of what's going on in the courts in Wisconsin, is that the Koch shysters got wind of their investigation and did not want it to come to fruition so they initiated a law suit against the investigators claiming the investigation infringed upon their freedom of speech... and, that it was a "witch hunt" and was frivolous... that has yet to be proven in a higher appeals court.

    this is again not true. Tommy Thompson was the first tea party governor. Tommy T. David Prosser and Scott Walker all joined ALEC in 1992. As Tea Partiers they gave Wisconsin`s truth in sentencing make Koch billion housing prisoners in his private prisons until Doyle took over. He returned the prisoners because Walker and Tommy and Prosser knew it violated the state constitution for private prisons.
