So the GOP-run House of Representatives (and exactly whom is being represented?) has jeopardized renewing the food stamp program (what, the poor and unemployed need to eat - - including larger numbers of Republicans?) by taking it out of the farm bill for the first time in decades.
And has signaled it will not pass immigration reform that establishes a long, long road to citizenship (13 years) and earmarks billions of dollars for a Texas and Arizona jobs program known as more fences and thousands of new Border Patrol hires.
But for the umpteenth and irrelevant time voted down ObamaCare, as if that is going to happen.
It amazes me that Wisconsinites continue to send these do-nothing Republicans obstructionistas to Congress year after year, like Jim Sensenbrenner, and pay him an annual salary these days of $175,000 plus gaudy benefits, so they can squeeze working people, the low-income, immigrants and anyone in need of better health care.
