Two Milwaukee men — each with a state permit to carry a concealed weapon — traded dozens of shots in a rolling shootout through two sides of town and down a freeway, the kind of Wild West scenario concealed carry opponents warned would turn road rage incidents deadly.
The fallacy here lies in the assumption that these two would not have been armed without CCW. As if to ignore or pretend there was never a shooting in Milwaukee before CCW.
ReplyDeleteMaybe try posting an article every time someone is shot when the criminal does not have a CCW license.
Of course I'm not sure what this criminal activity has to do with my, or anyone's constitutional right to bear arms?
There is no fallacy here. The state told these two individuals they could carry these guns. The state bears some responsibility for the behavior of people who are essentially state-enabled agents.
ReplyDeleteDoes the state also bear some responsibility when a person kills someone in a DUI accident?
ReplyDeleteHow convenient for you to ignore the real issue in that they broke the law. I mean they are state enabled drivers, correct?
