Urban vote!
I wonder if the votes that were supposed to be suppressed in urban America includes his hometown of Janesville, pop. 65,000 - - which Ryan lost big time on election night, the Journal Sentinel's Craig Gilbert notes:
He lost his hometown of Janesville twice: by 10 points for Congress and by 25 points for vice president.
he said it was like "a foreign experience." what, like a turkish prison? joe biden did figuratively bite off his tongue.
ReplyDeleteRyan of course ignores the fact that he lost states that were predominantly white and rural: Iowa and New Hampshire.
ReplyDeletePaul Ryan: "We thought we had a very good chance of winning. You know, the polling and the data and all the people who are the smart people who watch this stuff -- they had a pretty optimistic view on the night," says Ryan.
ReplyDelete"All the people who are the smart people?" Yeah, maybe on FOX News. Ever hear of Nate Silver, Paul? Good grief.
"I'll let the pundits decide exactly how he won," says Ryan. "The point is, he got more votes than we did. That's how he won."
ReplyDeleteYeah. Great point, Paul.
