Climate Change Drying Up West's Hydro Power Sources

That climate change that Mitt Romney and Rush Limbaugh don't believe in is a real thing to water planners running big power plants in the US, including some nuclear operations, reports The Washington Post:
Drought and rising temperatures are forcing water managers across the country to scramble for ways to produce the same amount of power from the hydroelectric grid with less water, including from behemoths such as the Hoover Dam.

  1. Apparently they are experiencing similar weather patterns such as were seen in the 1930's. Climate crisis witchdoctors may try to sell the snake oil remedy of reducing carbon emissions to change the weather. thankfully, the public isn't buying it anymore.

  2. The dust bowl days were much more severe and not connected to human carbon emissions. There is no reason to believe that the current drought, was caused by, could have been prevented, or can be changed by manipulating carbon dioxide. The one effect that carbon emission control will have is the total collapse of the world economy with absolutely no impact on the weather.

There is no evidence what so ever which suggests that today’s weather is more severe than that of the past.

  3. The western drought is totally unprecedented and could have only been caused by poisionous carbon dioxide that we spew into the environment to promote our selfish lifestyle and corporate profits!! Listen to AlGore and Barack Obama! They know what is best for us and it is not driving cars or using electricity! The costs of these planet killing products must necessarily skyrocket as Obama has promised to force us to stop using them and save the planet! We need the continuing rising gas and electric costs to keep us from killing the planet with carbon!

Help end the drought and vote Obama!!!!

Actually, what we're experiencing is worse weather. Thankfully, the Great Plains aren't completely plowed right now, so not as much dust bowl crisis going on.

"There is no reason to believe that the current drought, was caused by, could have been prevented, or can be changed by manipulating carbon dioxide"

Except, of course, for 160 years of scientific work. Besides that, no reason at all.

"There is no evidence what so ever which suggests that today’s weather is more severe than that of the past. "

Except, that is, for detailed records that do, in fact, indicate that it's worse. But besides that, no evidence at all.
