Ryan's Anti-Science Record: Snow Invalidates Climate Change Concerns

Great summary of Ryan's words and actions in favor of the fossil fuel sector and against the EPA and others' science-based concerns.

In light of the record heat that last year burned Texas and this year scorched Wisconsin and much of the farm belt, I wonder if he wishes he could retract these December, 2009 words:
Unilateral economic restraint in the name of fighting global warming has been a tough sell in our communities, where much of the state is buried under snow...
It's the winter equivalent of Ron Johnson's sun spot moment two years ago.

  1. AlGore knows his climate modelsAugust 12, 2012 at 6:14 PM

The science of AlGore and the climate models clearly predict that global warming will indeed produce colder weather and snow, and so the presence of cold weather and snow can be seen as proof which validates the theory since it was predicted by the climate models.
AlGore has been closely working with these climate models for many years in order to save the planet. You might even say that he has been obsessed with climate models and has committed himself to exploring every facet of them in minute detail. He has experimented with many different climate models and has selfishly repeated his efforts to the point of exhaustion. I think we can safely say that AlGore is intimately and passionately involved with climate models.

Paul Ryan has never spent the time with climate models that AlGore has and he denies them just because he does not know them the way AlGore does. He is insanely jealous over the climate models and is a denier because of it.

  2. Paul Ryan is a sick individualAugust 12, 2012 at 7:55 PM

Paul Ryan denies the climate models and this is just plain rude. Rude and unscientific. AlGore does not deny the climate models, he embraces them passionately and pumps his energy into them tirelessly until they burst forth with satisfying science. The satisfying science which warms the golden globes of the climate models. Paul Ryan does not believe in warming the globes, he is cold and heartless, he denies the climate models warm globes. This is not natural, it is a sickness. The unnatural sickness of cold hearted, uncaring capitalism; caring for capital rather than the warming globes. Paul Ryan is truly a sick, misguided individual.

  3. Especially ridiculous given that Ryan's entire district is under extreme drought. And he's still part of the group in Congress that's holding up the farm bill that would help those farmers, by the way.

    1. And guess who also noticed that Purty Paulie's been holding up the Farm bill? Obama, who rightfully called Ryan out on this in drought-ravaged Iowa today. Yet another way this guy's going to get exposed, because being on the Koch climate-change denial payroll is a losing position in 2012.

  4. Again, How did the glaciers that covered WI melt?

Was that from burning fossil fuels or Clovis industrialization?

Or, more likely, the Earth just goes through cycles and we are just along for the ride.

  5. Do the Koch brothers issue W-2s for those jobs?
