Here's an example from one righty 'thinker.'
So I guess this is making conservatives smile all across SE Wisconsin:Yet another example why we need FEWER voters
I’m in the minority and I really don’t care.
Liberal newspaper editorial boards all across Wisconsin (and all other states for that matter) beg, plead, and hope for large voter turnouts on Election Day.
Not me.
I prefer a smaller, more educated electorate and have blogged extensively that some people are just too stupid to vote.
Three write-in candidates gain seats on Ozaukee County Board
Write-in contestants won three seats on the Ozaukee County Board in districts with no candidate on the printed ballot in last week's spring election, County Clerk Julie Winkelhorst said Tuesday.
Barring requests for a recount of write-in votes in three county supervisory district races, an official canvass of votes cast determined that Irena Macek of Mequon won election to the board with just 7 votes while Rick Bauzenberger of Mequon gained a seat with 8 votes and Ken George of Grafton triumphed with a whopping 19 votes.
A total of 34 write-in votes decided three seats on the Ozaukee County Board.
Are they lefties or righties?
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a striking number of write-in winners in local elections this year. In Marathon County, the winner for one seat was decided this week by the draw of playing cards. The two top vote getters got two write-in votes each.
