RepCoryMason: SB262 on floating toilets passes. No substantial jobs legislation in this session, but there will be floating toilets. Unbelievable.I Googled SB262, and good news if you need to relieve yourself up on the St. Croix River.
An Act to create 30.12 (1n) of the statutes; relating to: a permit exemption for the placement of a pier containing a floating toilet facility in the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.
I sometimes think this past year must just be a bad dream from which I cannot wake. Then I realize that no dream could be this insane.
ReplyDeletei've heard of a floating craps game, but this?

Ed Hammer, you are SO right:
You couldn't make this shit up: the rising up of the masses, dirty political tricks, unprecedented numbers of recalls, hundreds of thousands protesting in and around the capitol, indictments, jobs, l sustained unemployment, legislation created for a single company or an individual, our deeply valued traditions of democracy and public trust overturned and stomped on, the middle class attacked, education gutted . . .
And Nero, fiddling away as Rome burns: floating toilets, hunting sandhill cranes, concealed carry, wolves first de-listed and then hunted, Aaron Rodger's Day, the state's first woman DNR secretary more suited to leading the Pom squad than the largest, arguably the most important state agency, the disappearing governor . . .
It's like getting stuck in a funhouse. It's only mildly amusing in the beginning, now everything is distorted, the distortions are starting to feel real. . . YOU JUST WANT OUTTA HERE!
