Rick Perry Finally Gets Death Penalty Priorities Straight

Lethal injections in Texas's "Walls" death house to continue, but no more special last meals.

It's OK to throw away lives down there, but like the cafeteria monitors say, it's a sin to waste food.

  1. Perry won't have a first or last meal in the White House.

  2. I guess I would rather "throw away lives," than brutally rape, stab, shoot or murder away lives as these criminals did.

    Perry 2012!

  3. And they might as well quit wasting alcohol to sterilize the skin at the point of the injection to prevent the sentenced victim from dying of infection. Big bucks wasted there./s

  4. If capital punishment was the deterrent its supporters claim it was, Texas' murder and violent crimes' rate would be miniscule.

  5. The deterrence is only a small part of the equation.

In my view, capital punishment is meant more so as a punishment for the heinous crimes these individuals committed.
