The great state of Massachusetts made a mistake and now is the time to make this right.
It was not a mistake. Brown's opponent, Martha Coakley, is the attorney general, and is an example of a huge problem we have, of people who use prosecutorial stints as a stepping stone for a political career. Her conduct as attorney general was so blatantly opportunistic and publicity seeking, that many stalwart liberals avoided the polls, and I voted for Brown. I don't regret it. People like Coakley, whether conservative or liberal, must not be allowed to reach high office. I have no such problems with Warren, though, and I plan to vote for her.
