Wisconsin Chief Justice Says Tuesday Afternoon What A Lot Of People Are Thinking

That in the matter of the legislature's hurried approval of the Walker union-busting law, a majority of her colleagues in a quickie, skinny ruling left the impression they had made their minds up in advance.

Shirley Abrahamson''s diplomatic wording - - the court's pro-Walker majority allows the interpretation they...
“...reached a pre-determined conclusion not based on the facts and the law, which undermines the majority's ultimate decision.”
Ouch.

  1. Wow, Abrahamson rocks! She's keeping a pretty cool head.

    I appreciate that.

  2. Sour grapes are always pretty bitter.

The old hag Shirley must have a real bad taste in her mouth after losing out on regaining control of the WSC with Kloppenstein.

And her pointing her finger and claiming "pre-determined conclusion" is the icing on the cake.

  3. Yeah, that's pretty much correct. WMC didn't pay all that money for nothing, ya know.

See ya at the Court of Appeals.

  4. To Anonymous at 9:36 p.m. Why the sexist insult. She's the Chief Justice.

  5. Wow, isn't a pre-conceived opinion the reason everyone on the left was voting for Kloppenburg?

    Win the election next time.

  7. James - A bitter old hag is still a bitter old hag, regardless if she happens to be the Chief Justice of the SC of Wisconsin

She might garner a modicum of respect if she lived up to the title she holds and wasn't the petty, biased, partisan justice she is.

  8. To the Chief Justice's sexist critic: You still don't get it.

  9. Of course I get it Rowen - but your playing of the gender card with your claims of sexism are inane.

Last time I checked Shirley Abrahamson is a female and I simply used a gender correct pejorative term.

I did not accused Shirley of being a horrible Justice because she is a woman, that would be sexist.

And if you have some suggestions for comparable gender neutral pejoratives, I will consider their use next time.

While you were at it, am wondering why you didn't also accuse me of ageism since I referred to her as being 'old'.

  10. "It's not sexism because it's a gender correct pejorative term."

Oh boy, that's a new one.

I'm gonna state right here, for posterity:

'gender correct pejorative term' = sexism
