Wisconsin Republicans were caught with a plan to run fake opponents in recall elections - - a scheme so reprenhensible and politically-suicidal that conservative talk radio host Mark Belling attacked it and its authors Tuesday afternoon.
So the GOP just changes directions, ginning up yet another bit of fakery - - that the Government Accountability board with allegations of bias.
Republicans know the GAB is a non-partisan body run by a group of non-partisan retired judges.
But when you've screwed up, the playbook says go to Plan B, or Misdirection 101 and make a lot of noise elsewhere as a diversion.
It won't work, and only indicates the Republicans' descent down a politically and morally slippery slope.
Enjoy the ride: like the mess at the Capitol, it's all of your own making.

You have to remember RD that Rowen has very selective memory.
