Some Media Knew Details Of Waukesha Voting Glitch Before State Election Authorities

AM 620 WTMJ's afternoon drive-time program host John Mercure was teasing Supreme Court election "breaking news" and citing "sources" about an hour before a news conference where embattled Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus revealed the Brookfield counting problem- - though a report in Friday night's Journal Sentinel says that state elections chief Kevin Kennedy was not informed promptly, and got more information after that news conference:
Kennedy also questioned why Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus had waited more than a day to inform him and the public of the error.
"This was a large number of votes. This is the kind of thing that I would expect at least would have been brought to our attention. . . . I have confidence in the Waukesha County clerk," Kennedy told reporters. "She does a very good job. But I also recognize that there are some things she needs to improve."
Amid intense interest Friday, Nickolaus, a Republican, made no new comment and didn't address the delay in reporting the problem....
Kennedy said he had been in "close contact" with Nickolaus since she announced the results early Thursday evening.
Additionally, this conservative online site had posted - - a minute before the news conference was to begin - - the precise vote totals that Nickolaus would be announcing.


So some folks were pretty well sourced - - and kudos to them for that - - maybe better sourced than state election officials in Madison.


Other reports have said Nickolaus has been near-dictatorial with her grip on election data, so draw your own conclusions about how some media were so far ahead of the story.

    It has to be noted that a major Democrat who participated in the vote count and the subsequent discovery of the 7,500 omitted votes validated that it was an honest error and approved the final vote tally. She is acknowledged by many as a lifelong union member and Democrat!

    Every now and then an honest Democrat appears! Kudos Ramona Kitzinger! Your party could learn a thing or two from you!

    Shouldn’t be too long now before the scum on the left starts demonizing another one of their own now, should it? After all, in the union owned Democratic Party, having someone actually tell the truth or show some moral backbone is tantamount to treason, isn’t it?
