Big Win In South Carolina, As Destructive Sprawlway Is Blocked

Who needs an eight-mile freeway extension over rivers and marshes to save 36 seconds off the average daily commute?

It took years, but the good people in and around historic Charleston have made the right call.

Here's a map of the project that South Carolina's version of WisDOT tried to foist on an organized citizenry that rejected it:

  2. The nice thing about train tracks is they impose far less impact on waterways and wetlands.

  3. NEVER forget, EVERYTHING you buy at EVERY store (grocery store, etc.) gets there by HIGHWAY.
