radio stations are licensed to broadcast in the public interest. they do not do so when they act as a propaganda outlet for a particular party or politician. for example, when sykes "interviewed" walker, who stated the obvious falsehood that "collective bargaining remains intact," did sykes in any way question or challenge that statement?
Better question, how much is Steve Wexler and co. making off of WisGOP ads, access and other favors? Time to find some TMJ advertisers, and organize a lil' boycott action until that station gets in line.
And ol' Charlie better hope there's no NFL lockout that goes into the season, or else he'll see a ratings tank even larger than he has coming.
WBBM (780 AM) does a great job at providing news radio, and has even been at the front of reporting on the developing Wisconsin story. I even prefer listening to Chicago weather and traffic over anything WTMJ-AM has to offer (other than sporting events).
