For now, the law cannot be published, as the judge rules its hurried-approval didn't comply with Wisconsin's Open Meeting law.
Think about this. Dane County Circuit Court Judge Maryann Sumi is saying that lawmakers didn't follow the law when creating one.
And you wonder why we want as many of these lawmakers (sic) recalled and removed from office?
They asked multitple teams if what they needed to do was legal... including the judicial committee at the state which superseeds that judge.
ReplyDeleteThe judge I believe is trying to stop the publication of that law.
Thats a technicality and its still law.
It would have to be a federal judge to say its unconstitutional.
And I dont see how a bill that gives a worker choice to choose to join a Union or not, is unconstitutional.
I heard Scott Fitzgerald on the radio yesterday (national show) saying absolutely incredible things. For instance, he was sure the judicial branch would not want to "interfere" with the affairs of the legislative branch. Hello? Checks and balances? And, besides, he was was "absolutely" sure they had followed all of the proper procedures and the law was legal. They are lawmakers, after all. They know the law. There was a lot more baloney from Fitzgerald, too.
