Activist Wisconsin Attorney General Files Appeal Without Consulting The Client

J. B. Van Hollen appealed the high-profile Madison court ruling that enjoined the Secretary of State from publishing Wisconsin's controversial union-busting law, but the Secretary of State says he wasn't consulted about the appeal, which has his name on it.

Another problem with AG's case is that laws trump legislative rules.
