The Koch Brothers Can Go Shopping In Wisconsin - - Power Plants, Forests - - In A State Up For Sale

No fire in the fireplace, but a no-bid fire sale is coming.

Pants-on-Fire would see apropos.

Privatization? How about an entire takeover of common properties?

And as they have proven during Walker's campaign, the Koch Brothers have the checkbook.

Others will line up.

Wisconsin is open for business - -a going-out-of-business sale.

    Recalls in WI must wait a year after an official takes office. So this is not an immediate issue or activity.

    Jim,

    Does that include State Senators? My understanding was it did not. Or, if it does cover legislative officials, does the one-year run from date of election, or from date that official was first elected to office? It'd be a great tactical way to undercut Walker in a way he can't prevent, before he realizes what's up.

    Rich- James is incorrect in one way. You can recall your Senator if they're in an even-numbered district, since their term is over 2 years in. This includes Alberta Darling, Dan Kapanke, Randy Hopper (the most likely to get run), but check your Legis.Wisconsin.gov site to find out which Senator is yours.

    You'll have to wait till 2012 to have Assembly members and Walker to be blown out (I'd recommend waiting until right after the GOP presidential primary in Feburary). But getting some GOP Senators facing the music this year would send the message, and could even up the next GOP power-grab known as redistricting.

    Speak about connecting the dots. Hmm, take a look what states are being threatened by union curtailment. They seem to ring the Great Lakes. Lets see a company that builds pipe lines and water - fresh water shortages world wide including Waukesha County, WI.
