WisDOT is forging ahead with interchange spending to serve an incomplete and stalled planned development and an upscale shopping mall never built off I-94 at Pabst Farms, in Western Waukesha County, as Waukesha blogger Jim Bouman explains here.
My understanding is that some interchange construction begins in March; the park-and-ride lot not until 2015.
And more highway widening nearby on Highway 67 is on the drawing boards by the state and for a connector road to the interchange paid for by the City of Oconomowoc, so roadway infrastructure is being added despite Pabst Farms' troubles.
