Motorcyclist Deaths in 2010 Now 35% Higher Than In 2010

WisDOT data show motorcyclist deaths in 2010 as of last week year at 98, or almost 35% more than last year at this time, though generally, the roads are safer for drivers of vehicles.

That number also exceeds the average from 2004-2009.

The trend for the motorcyclists has been consistently higher this summer and fall, as I have noted often on this blog; 110 is the all-time annual death toll.
