One Nation, Meet One Wisconsin Now

One-ness is contagious.

One Wisconsin Now is already here. (Full disclosure; I am on the board of the non-profit arm of OWN, it's Institute.)

  1. So James looking at 'One Wisconsin Now's press releases it appears to do absolutely nothing but rip on Republicans.

Is that because there is nothing good to be said about Democrats?

Considering all you have is Doyle and Barrett to promote, I can see why.

    What a pathetic organization.

  3. James the fact you are on the board of this 501c4 speaks volumns.

It is very telling the 4 paid staff members are the only people willing to be publically identifed as being associated with this organization.

Board members and donors are apparently too ashamed to.

Again, what a pathetic excuse and this explains why so many people are disgusted with what has become of the political process.

  4. A complaint about the state of the process from an anonymous and frequent commenter is awfully contradictory.

  5. "One Nation" sounds like a great idea -- just what is needed at the moment and for the future.

For a brilliant, well-written -- if lengthy -- analysis of the current state of US politics (and media) please do yourself a favor and read "Kabuki Democracy: Why a Progressive Presidency Is Impossible, for Now," by Eric Alterman, published July 7, 2010 at thenation.com.

  6. "Ironic" might be a more apt description.

Then again I am not a tax-exempt organization being funded by anyone.

Apparently you like to spend other peoples taxes and not contribute your OWN.

  7. Apparently Anon Jim likes to make his criticisms and snarky commentary--without contributing any positive ideas of his OWN. Of course that's what happens when you spend your days sitting around in your underwear and watching Fox "News" . . . . and trying to be a tax exempt organization via tea party cranksterisms.

  8. Fox News is actually about the last thing I watch.

For the last month it has mostly been the World Cup coverage and July is always reserved for the TDF.

And how exactly am I trying to be a tax-exempt organization? That claim doesn't even make sense.
