James – that you think Obama’s SOTU speech was “solid” just affirms my reaction, which was quite the opposite as you may imagine.
Going forward - seeing as how Obama has not gotten the message yet on what the majority of Americans think about his agenda, that he is apparently still "stuck on stupid" - do not see him getting much of anything accomplished between now and election day in November.
There will be enough Dem's who are not stuck, who will try to save their jobs (they will fail btw), who will abandon him and the pathetic excuses for leadership you have in the House and Senate.
Seriously, he could not get anything thru since last July with a filibuster proof majority – what makes you think he will now?
Last Tuesday halted what power and political capital the Obama Administration had, and last night was sticking the proverbial fork in it.

Careful Anon Jim. Don't confuse propaganda and your own wishes for outcomes.

Well stated James - that concisely and very accurately describes the 1st year of the Obama Administration.
