James - interesting that you would hold up China as a model to follow.
Especially since they are furiously building both Nuclear and Coal electrical generation plants to meet the growth in their demand - something you seem to be vehemently against when it occurs in your back yard.
China's goal to double the percentage of green energy by 2020 is laudable, however they will still be getting 92% from Coal (66%) and Nuclear/Hydro (25%).
And most of that Hydro will be from the Three Gorges Dam, a project I would guess you thought was an abhorrent abomination.
