Ted Kennedy, Democrat. Liberal.

I admired Ted Kennedy's unapologetic, enthusiastic, lifelong embrace of both political liberalism and Democratic Party core principles.

Too many Democrats too often run the other way.

Kennedy did not, which is among the reasons he will be missed.

    Nothing against Sen. Kennedy, but almost 47 years in office as a U.S. Senator is 35 years too many imho.

    No matter who you are.

    I think nobody should be allowed to stay in office for more than 4 years. Speaking of over 40 years is bit too much!

    The people of his state freely elected him, and there are no legal limits against it.
