You're wasting money and energy - - big time.
Afternoon Update: Wonderful coincidence today. Ice Mountain - - that would be Nestle and its Michigan wetlands water - - sent me an offer for bottled water deliveries in those big, Great Lakes diversion-evading jugs - - that now comes with a stainless steel dispenser/holder.
False needs - - multiplied!
Groveland still fighting St. Johns district, water bottler Niagara!
ReplyDeleteMarch 10, 2009
"City Council members Monday met behind closed doors to discuss their legal challenge against the St. Johns River Water Management District and the water bottler Niagara. They agreed to vote on the issue at a City Council meeting next Monday, but council members revealed little else. Last week, the Lake County Commission voted to end the county's legal challenge against the water-management district and the California-based water bottler. Niagara is asking the water district whether it can pump up to
484,000gallons per day from the Floridan Aquifer from wells on its facility at the Christopher C.
Ford Commerce Park near Groveland. Lake County and Groveland filed a lawsuit opposing the request, saying it would hurt the state's water resources."

We're on water restrictions all over Florida and not even allowed to water our lawns enough to keep it green! But, they're going to let Niagra pump about a 1/2 MILLION GALLONS of water a day from the aguifer!! Help the small town of Groveland fight this atrosity today. Groveland has already spent almost $300,000 fighting Niagra Water Bottlers. Please call and DONATE to their legal fund. (352) 429-2141 HELP
