City, County, UW-M Spar Over Engineering Campus Site

The problem with the proposed site at the County Grounds is that once you are there, there's no there there.

    Interesting, acerbic comment by the Mayor's Office about a "pissing match." Sounds like they don't get it, or don't care.

    Supporting UWM downtown is Council-adopted public policy. Ignoring it doesn't sound very, um, legal.

    Anyway, it's too bad, you'd think the people who finally freed up the $ for the downtown connector would think downtown density is a good thing. Oh well.
