Paris Hilton-Style Media Undercuts John Edwards

You'd think the media descent that began with the OJ Simpson slow-speed chase and scraped bottom with the Paris Hilton 'coverage' would not infect really important stories, like, oh, presidential campaigning.

Nope: John Edwards' haircuts and hairstylist lands in The Washington Post, then, of course, to the internet and cable TV, closing the OJ/Paris loop.
