But it struck me this afternoon, as I listened to Ben Sheets retire the Dodgers like Little Leaguers, that there's one more reason to love all those Brewer game days this season:
Every game on 620 WTMJ-AM radio means another day in Milwaukee with less right-wing jibber-jabbering on this market's biggest AM station.
Think about it: Hundreds of hours into October of anecdotes from Bob Uecker and incisive play-by-play by Jim Powell instead of lecturing and hectoring.
Baseball is throwing a greatful Milwaukee radio audience six months of welcome relief from squawker bloviation.
