That meant taking some of the cream revenue they raked in and hiring more people (at decent wages and benefits) and building new infrastructure. None of that happens now. The cream revenue (and a lot of the rest of it) goes to gutting employment and lining the pockets of top management. None of it matters in the end because said company can hire people in the third world to do the same work at 19 cents an hour. And when the company starts to tank, you can sell it to a multinational conglomerate and retire to the Cayman Islands.

There's no future for the United States until we start to demand an end to the bottomless death spiral the Republican Party has slated for us. There are some mighty big powers at play that want all the money in their pockets that used to be in ours--through our own honest labors. If we don't stand up for our rights, they will be taken from us.

Wisconsin is a test laboratory. With Fitzgerald et al. talking about "special sessions" of the Legislature to deal with prevailing wage, does anyone want to bet me that Wisconsin take-home pay is about to take yet another hit? And where do you think that extra money is going?

Not to our schools. You can take that to the bank.Aloishttp://schmaltz.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6621691715090523319.post-60572787253178309932015-06-30T19:55:55.065-05:002015-06-30T19:55:55.065-05:00Walker Translation App: rocket = submarine.Walker Translation App: rocket = submarine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6621691715090523319.post-73202901549748680702015-06-30T15:26:47.929-05:002015-06-30T15:26:47.929-05:00And here if the 2015 the job outlook.
