My belief is that Wisconsin, one of the weaker state economies devastated by austerity policies, is probably a leading indicator of a downturn coming to the national economy. States like Wisconsin will be the first to tank and they will fall farther than the rest of the country. Republicans will then call for a further bleeding of the patients.
You forgot Plan E: convince the Koch Brothers, the RGA and Crossroads Inc. to make millions of dollars of "independent" ad buys proclaiming "It's working!"
