She is a leading voice for water rights around the world and co-founder

Maybe she could comment on why MMSD dumping of sewage is good for Lake Michigan
ReplyDeleteShe can probably cite the progress made by Milwaukee in reducing overflows that used to be in the range of about 60 a year to one or two, and that is based on rainfall, not policy.
ReplyDeleteJames, is any dumping of raw sewage acceptable in your opinion? what if this was a private company doing the same?
ReplyDeleteRonR: perhaps you should go talk to the various suburban municipalities around Milwaukee, and persuade them to do a better job retaining their storm water so that the MMSD isn't flooded out and made to dump directly into the lake.
