Let's Be Clear About What's In Dispute In Waukesha Vote Totals And Procedures

It isn't that Waukesha County's initial vote total report appeared low for a high-turnout county, which suggested an anomaly of some sort.

It's whether the votes finally credited to Brookfield - - and by 3:1 in favor of Prosser - - are the same numbers accurately totalled in Brookfleid, then sent by Brookfield to the Waukesha County Clerk and published there.

Answering these procedural and management questions go beyond counting and adding, and must be addressed by independent examiners.

    Have the Brookfield election staffers spoken yet? Did they know the tally?

    Please note the 3:1 margin for Prosser in Brookfield is consistent with the rest of Waukesha County and likewise for neighboring Republican stronghold Washington County.

    And are you suggesting that Ramona Kitzinger signed off on the canvass without the numbers from Brookfield being correct?

    It is the whole reason they do the canvass after all.
