Having voted once as a Scott Walker ally for the budget-repair bill that ended public employee collective bargaining in Wisconsin - - and knowing he will vote a second time in favor this Thursday - - State Rep. Jeff Stone, (R-Greendale) definitely forfeits the race in April to replace Walker as Milwaukee County Executive.
Tomorrow we can find out if he was lying when he said he didn't like the collective bargaining part of the bill but voted for it anyway.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they will let him off the hook. They don't need his vote. But he might lose his base.
Stone doesn't give a shit...if he loses as county exec...Walker appoints him to a state job.......
ReplyDeleteStone just goes back to the Assembly. He doesn't give up his seat to run.
ReplyDeleteTo Xoff: I hope they let him off the hook and he votes "no" and is exposed as a Walker tool without an independent bone in his body.
ReplyDeleteAnd if he votes "yes, as he did the first time the bill came before him, he is exposed as a Walker tool without an independent bone in his body.
Does Stone remind anyone else of that little man with the funny mustache who comes in at the end of the cartoon to sweep up? Was it the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon?
