The lyrics to The Eagles' "Desperado" are fitting:
Desperado, why don't you come to your senses You've been out ridin' fences, for so long - now. Ohh you're a hard one. I know that you've got your reasons. These things that are pleasin'you Can hurt you somehow.
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy She'll beat you if she's able. You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet. Now it seems to me, some fine things Have been laid upon your table. But you only want the ones That you can't get.
You and Scott Walker (but mostly Scooter) may have ruined 'Desperado' for me forever--it was truly one of my favorites.
Now if I can hear those lyrics and the familiar tune without his horrible picture creeping in . . . I may begin to love 'Desperado' - THE SONG!- again.
That is truly frightening. But I can't put my finger on the reason why: dead look in eyes? spotty beard? sneery smirk?

And this was after he had "accepted Christ" at age 13! He's just looking toward the horizon for guidance.
