The guy who really wanted to be George W. Bush's Transportation secretary, since Tommy masqueraded as Mr. Amtrak?
Just in time for the GOP primary tomorrow, he's returned to his real first love - - highways.
Correction: he returned to his real first love - - himself.

I understand that times have changed, the economy is in dire straits, etc. But in Tommy's case, I have to think this change of tune has a least as much to do with his hyper-partisanship -- and anti-Doyle animus -- as anything else.
Good point: I suppose that Doyle would become King of Wisconsin Rail when the new trains roll, so Tommy has to be opposed.
