Arizona Immigration Law Already Costing Convention Business, Phoenix Officials Say
And the damage totaled so far doesn't include the GOP 2012 convention (late news: the GOP is talking its gathering to Tampa, though Phoenix was on the short list) or the 2011 baseball All-Star game.
Denver took in an estimated $286 million revenue when the Democrats held the 2008 nominating convention there.
Arizona is paying big time for its self-defeating immigration law.
Discrimination is becoming expensive. Sign of the times.
Would appear 70% of Arizonans think non-enforcement of illegal immigration and non-existent border security has a greater social and fiscal cost than a bunch of liberals across the country getting their collective undies in a bundle and mis-representing what the law really means.
