Quality sport fisheries that provide customers for Bass Pro Shops depend on high quality watersheds, not ones where the wetlands that absorb and clean surface runoff are filled and replaced with paved impervious surfaces.<br /><br />Bass Pro Shops was right to withdraw from the project. I could just imagine the egg on their face if they had stayed in the proposed project.
