Kanye West's WI 'campaign' echos fake recall candidates GOP ran as Dems

So Republicans and their donor class are supplying key personel to Kanye West's 2020 Wisconsin 'presidential' campaign, presumably to siphon away possible Democratic votes from Joe Biden in November, Dan Bice reports.

Don't forget that fielding fake candidates whose 'campaigns' mocked and distorted the electoral process is in the WI Republican official playbook, as this April 5, 2012 story lays out.
GOP's fake Democrats for recall primaries named
The state GOP has lined up six fake Democrats to run in upcoming recall elections targeting Gov. Scott Walker and five other Republicans. 
Then-and-still GOP Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald - back in the news as he runs for Congress and against masks

defended the GOP fakery which forced multiple Democratic primaries.

Though the Wisconsin State Journal - Madison's conservative daily paper - had said in an editorial that the scheme was "openly flouting reality and having candidates claiming to be something they clearly are not..."

The tactic even earned Republicans a rebuke from Milwaukee-based right-wing radio talk show host Mark Belling, as I noted at the time:
Belling is right to believe that people and voters will rebel against such an obvious and obnoxious effort to manipulate the election process.
