Walker still tweetin' cheese and beer, gets marginalized by Ocasio-Cortez

Defeated WI Gov. Walker is losing the Twitter war to US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, after Sen. Elizabeth Warren, his newest foil - - with others to come so Donny will notice - - if you look at her 168,000 "likes" to his 19,000.

Too bad she didn't lead with "Explaining taxes to a marginal, far-right former Governor.

Explaining marginal taxes to a far-right former Governor: Imagine if you did chores for abuela & she gave you $10. When you got home, you got to keep it, because it’s only $10. Then we taxed the billionaire in town because he’s making tons of money underpaying the townspeople.

  1. Explaining tax rates before Reagan to 5th graders: “Imagine if you did chores for your grandma and she gave you $10. When you got home, your parents took $7 from you.” The students said: “That’s not fair!” Even 5th graders get it.

Meanwhile, a Walker tweet boldly averring that Jayme Closs kidnapper Jake Patterson is "a sick SOB who should rot in prison" has garnered a whopping 402 likes since January 14th, and his tweet from yesterday about how it's going being a downtown Milwaukee weighs in even lighter with 235.
So goes the re-branding, and Ocasio-Cortex might be forgiven if she wasn't familiar with Walker's history of weird postings, like here and here.

I promised myself I was going to stop caring about Scott Walker’s pathetic tweets, but I have to finally point out something I’ve been wondering for a LONG time.

Whenever he tweets about going out, he’s always with “Tonette, Matt, and Alex.” Aren’t his sons adults in their mid-twenties? Why are these two grown men still hanging around with Mom and Dad all the time? Don’t they have friends, or dates?

Both of my kids are in their twenties...one is married and one has a long-term partner. My wife and I get along with both of them and we all communicate regularly. But even though we all live in the Milwaukee area, we rarely “go out” together. They have their own social circles, as they should.

Furthermore, don’t Scott and Tonette have friends their own age? Why are they always hanging around with the kids? If these tweets are intended to make the Walkers look like a loving, close-knit family, they really aren’t. It’s really pretty sad.
