Scott Fitzgerald's clock on serious gun control now running

WI State Senate GOP Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald Tuesday

had his own gun control and 'now is not the right time to talk about it' moment,' so let's keep track of how long it takes him to discover the right moment and get the real issues on his schedule:
Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, rebuffed Democrats' attempts to amend the bill with measures including universal background checks, a ban on bump stocks and reinstating a 48-hour waiting period for handgun purchases.
"I don’t disagree that this is a national issue and a national debate that needs to continue and it will continue, but I’m also not going to pretend we’re going to solve that in the Wisconsin state Senate this evening," Fitzgerald said.

Solve it? No, Fitz you, won't solve it in one day. But you can do SOMETHING that lessens the chance of it happening, and keeping wack jobs from having guns would lessen those chances.

But then the NRA money wouldn't roll in for elections if you actually dealt with the weapon of choice to commit mass murder, now would it?
