Trump's EPA chief enters Great Lakes Twilight Zone

Well, maybe a fabulist zone is the better descriptor, as the budget proposed for the US Environmental Protection Agency  zeros out Great Lakes restoration funding, yet Trump's EPA chief Scott Pruitt traveled to Ohio and told officials there he fully supports clean lakes.
EPA chief says he wants clean Great Lakes despite seeking cuts
Pruitt did speak some words:
"We recognize the importance of the Great Lakes," said Pruitt. "We will work with Congress to ensure that those objectives are attained."
Who's reassured, especially as there was this news just the other day.
